Sales Policies
Color and finish Disclaimer:
Although every effort has been made to represent each color and finish as accurately as possible, the inherent nature of concrete can result in minor variations. If the exact color and texture are critically important, we will gladly send you actual samples of the concrete. Samples do cost extra. If you do not see the color or you are looking for, please contact us to discuss your needs.
Deposits for Countertops and fireplace surrounds:
Custom Countertops, and fireplaces local to Southern California require deposits. We do not do ship countertops and fireplace surrounds.
You will be sent a proposal itemizing the cost of the kitchen or fireplace, any applicable taxes and the cost of packaging and shipping. A 50% deposit will be required before production begins. The remaining balance will be due before shipment. Our countertops and fireplaces are produced on a built-to-order basis; consequently, once production begins on your order, the 50% deposit is non-refundable.
Shipments:
The only products we ship are vessel sinks, and integrated sinks.
All items are manufactured at our facility in San Diego, Ca. The customer is responsible for all freight charges. All claims on apparent or concealed shipping damage should immediately be noted on the driver’s bill of lading and be reported to DC Custom Concrete within 7 days of delivery.
Delivery Note:
The truck driver will not always take the crate off the truck for you. We always ask the trucking company to use a lift-gated truck, but this is not always possible. Please have help available to unload from the trucker’s tailgate. If you are not able to receive the shipment on the specified date, we can hold your order up to 4 weeks provided the order is paid in full.
Order Completion:
Please allow approximately 2-4 weeks for your vessel sink order and 3-5 weeks for your custom integral sink order including shipment. Countertops and fireplace surrounds usually range the same. If you are trying to meet a deadline, please let us know and we will do everything possible to accommodate your time frame.
Returns:
Returns may be accepted provided the original crate is intact. Since each sink is built-to-order, all returns will be subject to a 50% restocking fee and subject to approval by DC Custom Concrete. There will be no refunds of the original shipping charges, and return freight charges will also be the responsibility of the customer.
Sink Installations:
If sink product is being shipped, proper installation is your responsibility. If you choose to install yourself, make sure you have everything necessary for correct installation. It is the personal responsibility and obligation of the customer to contact a qualified installer to assure installation meets all local and national codes and ordinances. Otherwise, contact a local contractor to complete the installation (recommended).
Warranty:
DC's sink products are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects, except those variations typical to cast concrete. Any defective products will be replaced.
Sales Tax:
You will be charged a California sales tax of 8.25% on your order.
